Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the drawing. Employees, officers, and directors of Thomson Bike Tours (the "Sponsor"), its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household are ineligible for this contest. Subject to all federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations.
Timing: This contest will begin at 12:01am EST on April 10th, 2017 and ends at 11:59pm EDT on May 8th (the "Contest Period").
How to Enter: To enter, contestant must complete the following 3 steps:
It must be a bicycle ride completed in one day. Contestants are allowed to complete the ride indoor on a cycling trainer using Zwift technology. (www.zwift.com)
For all entries: LIMIT: one (1) entry per person. All entries must be received online during the Contest Period. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor, and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by the Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible entries, which will be disqualified. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
Drawings: All Entries will be reviewed in accordance with these Official Rules on or about March 31, 2016. A winner will be randomly selected from all entries by a duly authorized representative of Thomson Bike Tours, subject to verification of eligibility under the terms of these Official Rules. Sponsor's decision will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. The Winner will be announced in Thomson Bike Tours Strava Club as well as contacted by email. Winner must confirm receipt of notice within 5 days of electronic notification to the Winner. Failure to return these documents in the time permitted or if the notification is returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification of the Entry and an alternate Winner will be selected by Sponsor from the remaining Entries. No substitution, barter, transfer, or assignment of the Prize is permitted.
Prize Package: 5 winners will be selected for riding a distance of 100km or more. Each winner of the adidas Sport eyewear Challenge for a distance 100km or more will receive: 1 pair of ZONYK AERO PRO glasses (MSRP $249,-). 10 winners will be selected for riding a distance between 50km and 99km. Each winner of the adidas Sport eyewear Challenge for a distance between 50km and 99km will receive: 1 pair of JAYSOR Sport Essentials glasses (MSRP $139,-). The prize will be shipped to each winner via UPS within 1 month of contest completion. Submitting an Entry does not mean that you have won a Prize. Deadlines are identified under 'Timing'. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible Entries in the Contest. It is expressly understood that Sponsor is under no obligation to the Winner other than as expressly set forth herein. The Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and fees associated with the receipt of the Prize. Submitting an Entry does not mean that you have won a Prize.
Promotion Release: By submitting an Entry and participating in this Contest, and in addition to any other grants which may be granted in any other agreement entered into with the Winner of the Contest, entrants participating in this Contest irrevocably transfer, grant and assign to the Sponsor, its respective affiliates, successors, assigns, and licensees (and unless prohibited by law), the right worldwide and in perpetuity, to use your name, likeness, voice and photograph in any and all media for any advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, as well as on the Sponsor's websites in connection with this Contest and other Sponsor promotions, including transmitting such promotional information and general communications via your e-mail address, and you hereby release Sponsor, and any entity acting on behalf of Sponsor, from any liability with respect thereto.
Release of Liability: By participating in this Contest, you agree that Sponsor, its respective affiliates, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, successors, assigns, agencies and licensees shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss or damage of any kind and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy resulting from participating in this Contest or from the acceptance or use of the Prize awarded. Any dispute shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action.
